During the past 15 years, Darlene has helped not-for-profit, technology, consumer packaged goods and literary organizations — of all sizes and stature — gain market visibility through thoughtful public relations programs. As principal of Darlene Hollywood Public Relations, Darlene, with a staff of senior consultants, sets the strategic direction for clients and actively executes PR programs.

Darlene was most recently a director at Horn Group, where she led account teams in establishing market share for a myriad of enterprise software start-ups. Prior to joining Horn Group, Darlene was vice president/account director for Laura Tomasetti & Associates (LTA, now 360 Public Relations), a boutique shop serving consumer-goods companies.At LTA, Darlene supported consumer brands including Dungeons & Dragons, Crockpot and The First Years.  In fact, she came to LTA from The First Years where she previously acted as communications director for the maker of infant and toddler products.

As director at large and vice president of programs for the Boston chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Darlene is well regarded by local media. Darlene also acts as student advisor for Bridgewater State College’s Public Relations Student Society of America chapter. Currently she is helping run a state legislative race, supporting treasury and press efforts. Darlene has a B.S. in mass communications from Emerson College.
